Role: Install Crew

While my involvement with this show was limited, I assisted the layout and installation of the flooring, which required a precise asymmetrical layout of wood plank boards. We spent the morning making the layout with chalk lines and measuring tapes and the afternoon screwing boards into the floor.

Role: Carpentry Crew/Running Crew

This was my first university theatre show and by extent, my first professional production. We built a wide variety of set pieces including periaktoi, full-sized bathroom stalls, bookshelves with a built-in hidden door, and of course the massive set walls. This show set the tone of working theatre for me and gave me a wealth of experience working with Carpentry tools and interacting with the theatre process as a whole.
